This kind of cleaning uses dry ice pellets for the cleaning of surfaces.

As soon as the CO2 pellets meets the surface,
it will be cooled and the sticking pollution is eliminated by the hypothermia. The resulting differing extension creates mechanical tensions between the surface material and the pollution – the dirt particles come off. The kinetic energy created by the impact breaks up the coat of dirt, the solid CO2 turns into gas and penetrates between the coat of dirt and the surface. As
during this transforming a volume extension occurs, the dirt is being eliminated completely of the surface and is taken away by the stream of compressed air.

    Environment-friendly
    • no strain of the ground water
    • only the real pollution has to be recycled
    • no action of ecologically harmful chemistry
    • the surface is not being damaged
    Reduction of costs
    • minimum of standstill time of the machines
    • no aftercare in form of drying
    • no costs for the recycling of material like sand, polluted water etc.
    Flexible use
    • independent of energy supply
    • possibility to clean all parts in installed condition / locally

In order to clean a Heidelberg SM 102 printing tower with ordinary finery means you need
approximately 40 hours. With dry ice you can do it in 8 hours.
This method we offer as well locally at your premises. We dispose of a special Service car with compressors, cold dryer and all necessary finery means. In order to avoid more standstill times than necessary our technicians come as well on weekends.
